Random bytes do not compress; zeros compress to almost nothing.
We do not create executable files (.exe, .bat, .dll): browsers and antivirus software block them.

Frequently asked questions
Is it free?
Yes, and no sign-up is needed. The file is created in your browser and is not sent anywhere, so there is no server work to charge for.
What is the difference between MB and MiB?
1 MB is 1,000,000 bytes and 1 MiB is 1,048,576 bytes, almost 5% more. Many services write “5 MB” but count 5 MiB. If you are not sure how yours counts, test both: the switch is next to the size.
Will the file open?
Yes. PNG and JPEG are real images, PDF is a one-page document, and ZIP is an archive with one file. The size is reached with service data inside the format. If a service re-saves the file, for example re-encodes the image, the size there will change.
Why can't I create an .exe file?
Browsers and antivirus software check executable files very strictly and often block them at once. You do not need them to test uploads: size and type can be checked with any other file.
What is the largest file I can create?
In Chrome and Edge on a computer, up to 10 GB: the file is written straight to disk. In other browsers on a computer, up to 1 GiB, and on a phone up to 200 MiB: there the file is built in memory.
